Upcoming Events:

Chicago: Protest Denny's Animal Cruelty at WSJ Global Food Forum Protest June 25, 2024 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM CT On Tuesday, June 25, join Animal Equality and activists outside of the WSJ Global Food Forum in a protest against the extreme abuse toward pregnant pigs in Denny's supply chain. Denny's is allowing a practice that is so cruel, it is already banned in 11 US states and hundreds of companies have pledge to do the same. Denny's CEO, Kelli Valade, is one of the speakers at this event, and we want her and her peers to know how the public feels about Denny's refusal to make a commitment to phase out cages for pigs completely. Denny's recently removed its goal of ending this horrific practice and now refuses to engage with customers who are concerned about the failed commitment. Hundreds of calls, emails, and social media comments have gone ignored. Join us and make sure that Denny's knows how we feel about animals in cages!

Mobilize Nashville (July 2) Volunteer Webinar July 2, 2024 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM CT You are invited to participate in a virtual call on July 2nd at 6:30pm CT with Animal Equality campaigners to talk about protests: why they matter and how you can participate! This call is to mobilize animal advocates to attend an important protest in the Nashville area on July 14th (details below). Each person attending our events amplifies our message and the voices of animals. We can’t do it without you! We will have a Q&A session to answer all of your questions! On Sunday, July 14, Animal Equality will host a protest at Keke's in Hendersonville, TN to help spare animals from extreme abuse. Keke's Breakfast Cafe was acquired by Denny's in 2022, a company which has failed to implement meaningful animal welfare policies. Denny's leadership, including CEO Kelli Valade who oversees both Denny's and Keke's, has been brushing animal cruelty under the rug for too long. Join us at Keke's to call out their association with animal cruelty whether you can join our July 2nd call or not!

Hendersonville, TN: Protest Animal Cruelty at Keke's Breakfast Cafe Protest July 14, 2024 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM CT On Sunday, July 14, please join Animal Equality at Keke's in Hendersonville, Tennessee to help spare animals from extreme abuse. Keke's Breakfast Cafe was acquired by Denny's in 2022, a company which has failed to implement meaningful animal welfare policies. Keke's has no public animal welfare commitments on their site and are associated with a company being called out for extreme animal cruelty. For over a year, Animal Equality has been calling out Denny's for backtracking on its commitment to spare extreme animal suffering by banning the use of gestation crates for pigs in its supply chain. Denny's leadership, including CEO Kelli Valade who oversees both Denny's and Keke's, has been brushing animal cruelty under the rug for too long. That's why Keke's is now in our sights. Join us at Keke's to call out their association with animal cruelty!
