Protest Ahold Delhaize Animal Cruelty (Dallas, TX) Protest June 10, 2025 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM CT Join Animal Equality outside the Grocery Tech conference as we protest while Ryan Draude (Giant Food) and Jessica Griffin (Food Lion)—brands under Ahold Delhaize—take the stage. Ahold Delhaize is facing criticism over animal cruelty in its supply chain. A recent undercover investigation revealed pregnant pigs confined in crates so small they couldn’t turn around, dead piglets, injured pigs, and signs of severe psychological stress. We’re also speaking out for hens kept in overcrowded cages, denied space and freedom while the company profits. As these corporate leaders speak inside, we’ll be outside to ensure they hear our voices and see our presence. Draude and Griffin have the ability—and responsibility—to demand better for animals suffering in their supply chain.

Protest The Chicago Network's ties to Ahold Delhaize (Chicago, IL) Protest June 12, 2025 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT Stand with animal advocates outside the Hyatt Regency Hotel (151 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601) during The Chicago Network's annual luncheon. We’re urging the group to cut ties with member Katie Doyle, a board member of Ahold Delhaize, a company linked to severe animal cruelty. Under Doyle’s leadership, Ahold Delhaize has broken its promise to end the confinement of animals in tiny cages. Despite knowing the suffering this causes, the company continues these practices—and ignores calls for change. We refuse to stay silent while animals suffer. If Katie Doyle won't listen, we’ll make sure her peers do. Please meet at the corner of N Stetson Ave & East South Water Street.
